Biography
Mainz black metal band Agathodaimon, formed in 1995 by guitarist Sathonys, blend symphonic, gothic and doom elements across albums from 'Blacken the Angel' (1998) to 'The Seven' (2022). One of Germany's most durable black metal acts, the band weathered constant line-up changes around Sathonys, its founder and sole constant member. Their lyrics move between English, German and Romanian, and their sound between black metal fury and gothic atmosphere.
