Biography
Scottish folk singer and guitarist Alasdair Roberts first recorded with *Appendix Out*, releasing three albums on #Drag City# between 1997 and 2001, before working under his own name. His solo records move between traditional Scottish song, as on 'The Crook of My Arm' and 'No Earthly Man', and original compositions rich in mythology and archaic language, including 'Farewell Sorrow' and 'Spoils'. Based in Glasgow, he collaborates widely and is a member of folk group *The Furrow Collective*.
