Biography
Alkaline Trio is a Chicago punk rock band formed in December 1996, built around guitarist Matt Skiba and, from 1997, bassist Dan Andriano, who share lead vocals and songwriting. Their dark lyrics, fast tempos and recurring subjects of addiction, depression and death run from the #Asian Man Records# albums 'Goddamnit' and 'Maybe I'll Catch Fire' through 'Good Mourning', 'Crimson' and the charting 'This Addiction'. Longtime drummer Derek Grant played from 2001 to 2023, and Tosh Peterson joined on drums in 2026.
