Biography
Nigerian afro-rock trio formed in Lagos in 1972 by Laolu Akintobi, Berkely Jones and Mike Odumosu — the initials of Blo. Former members of Afrocollection and *Ginger Baker*'s Salt, the trio fused Afrobeat, funk and psychedelia on 'Chapter One' for #EMI Nigeria# and 'Phase II', later moving toward disco before splitting in 1982. A later retrospective, 'Phases 1972–1982', restored the trio's catalogue to international attention.
