Bunny Wailer

Bunny Wailer was a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and percussionist, revered as one of the principal architects of reggae music. As a founding member of the iconic trio The Wailers, alongside his childhood friend *Bob Marley* and *Peter Tosh*, he was instrumental in shaping the group's distinctive harmonies and spiritual depth. After leaving the group in 1973, he embarked on a distinguished solo career, establishing his own #Solomonic# label. His 1976 debut solo album, 'Blackheart Man', released on #Island# records, is considered a landmark of the roots reggae genre, showcasing his profound Rastafarian faith and masterful songwriting. He was the last surviving original member of The Wailers.
