Often compared to artists like *Roy Orbison* and *Elvis Presley*, his music is characterized by a reverb-heavy sound, wide vocal range, and themes of love and heartbreak. He signed with #Warner Bros. Records# in 1985, releasing his debut 'Silvertone'. His major breakthrough came with his third album, 'Heart Shaped World', which featured the hit song "Wicked Game". The song's inclusion in the *David Lynch* film *Wild at Heart* propelled Isaak to international stardom.
