Biography
Dissection was a Swedish melodic black metal band from Strömstad, formed in 1989 by Jon Nödtveidt and Peter Palmdahl. 'The Somberlain' in 1993 and 'Storm of the Light's Bane' in 1995 made them leaders of the Swedish black and death metal underground. Reformed by Nödtveidt in 2004 after his release from prison, the band ended with 'Reinkaos' and a final Stockholm concert in 2006.
