Biography
Esmerine is a Montreal chamber group founded in 2000 by percussionist Bruce Cawdron and cellist Beckie Foon, both rooted in the city's post-rock scene. Their cello, marimba, piano and percussion instrumentals blend minimalism, modern classical composition and post-rock, on albums released by #Constellation# including 'Aurora', 'La Lechuza', 'Dalmak', 'Lost Voices' and 'Mechanics of Dominion'. The group is an ensemble, not a solo artist.
