Biography
Bristol-born tenor and soprano saxophonist, a central figure in European free improvisation since the late 1960s. Parker's circular-breathed solo performances, heard on 'Monoceros' (1978), redefined what one horn could sustain, and he has played since 1970 in the *Alexander von Schlippenbach Trio* and for decades in the *London Jazz Composers' Orchestra*. He co-founded #Incus Records# and later the #Psi# label, and leads an Electro-Acoustic Ensemble exploring live electronic processing.
