Biography
Funebrarum is an American death metal band formed in April 1999, renowned for a dark and heavy sound that blends traditional American death metal with early '90s European influences. Founded by vocalist Daryl Kahan and guitarist Nick Orlando, the band quickly established itself in the underground with demos and their acclaimed debut album, 'Beneath the Columns of Abandoned Gods', released in 2001 on #Necroharmonic Productions#. After a period of lineup changes and inactivity, they returned with 'The Sleep of Morbid Dreams' in 2009. The band has since seen several reformations, consistently championed by Kahan, and continues to release music, including the 2016 EP 'Exhumation of the Ancient'.
