Biography
Hooded Menace is a Finnish death-doom band formed in Joensuu in 2007 by Lasse Pyykkö, fusing old-school death metal with horror-film atmosphere. Albums such as 'Effigies of Evil' (2012), 'Ossuarium Silhouettes Unhallowed' (2018) and 'The Tritonus Bell' (2021) made them leaders of the modern death-doom revival. The band's horror imagery and artwork draw directly on vintage European horror films and comics.
