Biography
Malicorne is a French folk rock band formed in Paris in 1973 by Gabriel Yacoub and Marie Sauvet. Blending traditional French repertoire with rock instruments and early-music timbres, albums such as 'Almanach' (1976) and 'Le bestiaire' (1979) made the band the flagship of the French folk revival. Malicorne re-formed in 2011 and ended with final concerts in 2017, this time for good.
