Biography
Osees are a prolific and shapeshifting American rock band centered around multi-instrumentalist and songwriter *John Dwyer*. Formed in 1997 in San Francisco, the project evolved from Dwyer's lo-fi solo experiments into a full-throttle garage-psych powerhouse known for its relentless release schedule and frenetic live shows. With a history of name changes including Thee Oh Sees and Oh Sees, their sound is a volatile mix of garage punk, psychedelia, krautrock, and experimental noise. Dwyer's own #Castle Face Records# has been the primary home for their vast and influential discography, which includes key albums like 'Carrion Crawler/The Dream' and 'A Weird Exits'.
