A titan of jazz, Ray Brown was one of the most influential and recorded double bassists in history. He rose to prominence in the bebop era with *Dizzy Gillespie's* big band before becoming a cornerstone of the legendary *Oscar Peterson Trio* from 1951 to 1965.
