Biography
Richie Ramone, born Richard Reinhardt, is an American drummer best known for his powerful and prolific tenure with the legendary punk band Ramones from 1983 to 1987. He is the only one of the band's drummers to be credited as a solo songwriter for multiple songs, including the fan favorite "Somebody Put Something in My Drink". He was also the only drummer to sing lead vocals on Ramones tracks. After leaving the group, he embarked on a solo career, releasing albums such as 'Entitled' and 'Cellophane'. He played on the Ramones albums 'Too Tough to Die', 'Animal Boy', and 'Halfway to Sanity', and is considered by many, including *Joey Ramone*, to have reinvigorated the band.
