Biography
Turbonegro is a Norwegian band formed in Oslo in 1989 by Happy-Tom (Thomas Seltzer), Rune Rebellion (Rune Grønn) and Pål Pot Pamparius (Pål Bøttger Kjærnes). With singer Hank von Helvete and guitarist Euroboy (Knut Schreiner), the band forged its 'deathpunk' mix of glam, hard rock and punk on 'Ass Cobra' and 'Apocalypse Dudes'. After splitting in 1998, Turbonegro reformed in 2002 for 'Scandinavian Leather', 'Party Animals' and 'Retox'. Since 2011 the Duke of Nothing (Anthony Madsen-Sylvester) has fronted the band. Turbonegro's sailor-hatted Turbojugend fan clubs span the world.
