Album Notes & Community Reviews

A vibrant, kaleidoscopic fusion of 1970s funk and early 1990s club culture, this track defined the era's brief intersection of house music and hip-hop. It heavily utilizes samples from Herbie Hancock and Vernon Burch, augmented by live slap-bass from Bootsy Collins and a guest rap verse from A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip. Lady Miss Kier's commanding vocal delivery solidified the track as a timeless dancefloor anthem.
