Album Notes & Community Reviews

'As I Sat Sadly by Her Side', the lead single from 'No More Shall We Part', presents Nick Cave in piano ballad form, his narrative of failed consolation sung with the Bad Seeds at their most restrained. It set the tone for his songwriting's reflective decade.
