Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a consolidation of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds' preceding work, 'Let Love In' balances elegant, piano-led ballads against moments of aggressive, menacing post-punk. The album's polished and cohesive production provides a cinematic backdrop for Cave's lyrical explorations of love as a toxic, predatory, and often violent force, subverting the title's seemingly optimistic plea. Containing signature songs like the gothic-blues tale "Red Right Hand" and the volatile "Loverman," the record captures the band's dynamic range and stands as one of their most definitive and accessible statements.
