Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as guitarist Mick Taylor's final studio contribution to the band, 'It's Only Rock 'n' Roll' captures the Rolling Stones tightening their sprawling 70s sound into punchy, radio-friendly decadence. The album is a fiercely energetic, wonderfully playful celebration of rock hedonism, balancing remarkably raw blues-rock swagger with deeply sarcastic, highly rhythmic funk influences.
