Album Notes & Community Reviews

An absolute cornerstone of underground Southern hip-hop, Triple Six Mafia's 1994 mixtape 'Smoked Out Loced Out' defined the hazy, occult-driven sound of Memphis rap. The release combines ultra-violent, hedonistic gangsta rap lyricism with eerie, lo-fi sampling, creating a lethargic, nocturnal, and deeply hypnotic horrorcore atmosphere.
