Biography
Armia are a Polish band formed in Warsaw in 1984, emerging from the punk underground around singer Tomasz Budzyński and guitarist Robert Brylewski. Blending punk, hardcore, reggae, folk and metal with a signature French horn, they became one of Poland's defining alternative acts with albums such as 'Armia' (1988), 'Legenda' (1991) and 'Triodante' (1994). Budzyński remains the only constant member across thirteen studio albums; the band released its thirteenth, 'Wojna i pokój', in January 2025.
