Rashied Ali

A revolutionary drummer who was a pioneer of the free jazz movement. Ali is best known as John Coltrane's last drummer, appearing on his most avant-garde recordings. His duo album with Coltrane, 'Interstellar Space,' is a landmark of free improvisation.
