Still

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning to Sneaker Social Club with a spartan and highly focused sound, 'Still' represents some of Basic Rhythm's most uncompromising drum and bass work. The EP's three tracks are characterized by their deep, spacious atmosphere, pairing slow, halftime beats with moody string pads and minimal, clinical sound design. It stands as an extremely icy, nocturnal statement that places immense weight on the space between individual percussion hits.
