Album Notes & Community Reviews
The lead single from 'Humbug' signals a dramatic shift away from the band's frantic garage-rock origins toward a darker, desert-rock aesthetic heavily influenced by Josh Homme's production. Alex Turner's increasingly sophisticated, macabre lyricism perfectly matches the track's slinky, ominous bassline.
