Biography
Charli XCX is an English singer and songwriter who evolved from the London rave scene into a defining voice of avant-garde pop. After gaining initial recognition for co-writing and featuring on *Icona Pop*'s 2012 hit "I Love It," she charted her own path with solo hits like "Boom Clap." A pivotal shift occurred through her collaborations with producers from the #PC Music# collective, most notably *A. G. Cook*, which reshaped her sound. This partnership, evident on projects like the 'Pop 2' mixtape, merged experimental electronics with sharp pop sensibilities, establishing her as a central figure in the hyperpop subgenre. Her work, including the critically acclaimed albums 'how i'm feeling now' and 'Brat', consistently deconstructs and expands pop conventions.
