Biography
leroy is the influential electronic alias of American producer Jane Remover. The project is best known for spawning the 'dariacore' microgenre, a frenetic style of music built on sped-up, heavily processed samples of pop and internet culture. The sound was established across a trilogy of albums, including 'Dariacore' and 'Dariacore 2: Enter Here, Hell to the Left', which were released episodically on SoundCloud. After a brief retirement of the alias, leroy returned with 2023's 'Grave Robbing', an album that shifted towards a speed house and hard dance sound while retaining the project's signature chaotic energy and sample-heavy approach.
