The Strokes

The Strokes are an American rock band formed in New York City who became a leading force in the garage rock and post-punk revivals of the early 2000s. Their acclaimed debut album, "Is This It", released in 2001 on #RCA Records#, is considered a landmark of 21st-century rock, defined by its raw energy and melodic guitar interplay. After a string of successful albums including "Room on Fire" and "First Impressions of Earth", the band took a hiatus, with members pursuing various side projects. They later reunited, releasing several more albums and eventually winning a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album for 2020's "The New Abnormal", released on #Cult Records# and #RCA#.
