Enslaved

Enslaved is a pioneering Norwegian extreme/progressive metal band formed in 1991 in Haugesund by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson. Fusing black metal roots with progressive rock, they are known for thematic focus on Norse mythology and Viking culture. Currently based in Bergen, the band is recognized for their evolving, complex sound and long-standing career.
