Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost is a pioneering British metal band formed in Halifax, England, in 1988, widely credited with creating the death/doom subgenre and pioneering gothic metal. Known for their melancholic, heavy sound, the band has evolved through doom, death-doom, goth rock, and electronic styles. The long-standing lineup consists of Nick Holmes (vocals), Greg Mackintosh (lead guitar), Aaron Aedy (rhythm guitar), Steve Edmondson (bass), and various drummers, including the return of Jeff Singer.
